TECHNOLOGY AT PORCFEST

We have worked to make your planning, travel, and stay at this year’s Porcupine
Freedom Festival easy and enjoyable with the use of some really amazing
new technology.

Schedule App

The festival schedule is being managed through a third party service: SCHED.ORG.
This allows us to have a very robust, interactive, and dynamic schedule that you can
control. You can even download the full schedule as an app that will work on your
phone or tablet. Once it’s been opened, it will save the information even without wi-fi
or cell service!
To install the app on your smartphone, go to Porcfest2015.sched.org in your browser,
and tap the icon to add it to your home screen. You can log in using Facebook or your
sched account and sync to your personal calendar or highlight your favorite events.

Internet / WiFi

There will be WiFi Internet access this year. HOWEVER: it will be limited. Please be
respectful and refrain from using any video streaming services (YouTube, Netflix, Hulu,
etc.) - we don’t have enough bandwidth for that and still allow 1,500 other people
to Tweet, Facebook, email, etc. how much fun they’re having and how much they’re
learning from such interesting speakers. If you have problems, stop by the PorcInfo
booth at Agora Valley Site .
