This year we added an element borrowed from Burning Man, which is an explicit list of
concepts we think do, or should, guide our community: the seven ‘Principles of PorcFest’
(see back cover).
We really want to emphasize two of them:
① Inspire - PorcFest is a marketing tool - an experimental micro-cosm to showcase the kind of
voluntary society we are trying to achieve, that convinces potential movers of the power of the idea
and the spirit of community, so that they will move - #triggerthemove - the sooner the better!
⑦ Celebrate - PorcFest is a festival that honors everything we have already achieved - look around
at all your fellow activists and rejoice that you have finally found your tribe. Enjoy your time, meet
new friends, hear a speaker or take class, and most importantly...
WELCOME HOME!
